UNGM does not provide any registration certificate, registration confirmation, reference or any similar document upon registration.
The registration on UNGM is neither an evidence of a supplier's performance, nor a supplier approval, nor a recognition of a contractual relationship between a supplier and a UN organization. In addition, suppliers shall not advertise or otherwise make public for purposes of commercial advantage or goodwill the fact that they are registered on UNGM.
Upon registration, suppliers are assigned a UNGM number which should be used as identification when communicating with UN organizations or UNGM. This identification number enables UN organizations to identify the supplier profile in the UNGM database.
Finally, suppliers are reminded that they are not permitted to use the name, emblem or official seal of the United Nations, or any abbreviation thereof, for any purpose. For more information, read the: Use of the UNGM or UN emblem article.
