Suppliers may have been made aware of a specific procurement opportunity from an external source and may try to find it on UNGM. In some cases, this procurement opportunity is not listed on UNGM.
A procurement opportunity may not be listed on UNGM in the following cases:

It may be possible that this specific procurement opportunity has been published through other channels than UNGM. For example, the UN organization's website.

In restricted procedures, only short-listed suppliers may submit offers. The invitation to bid or request for proposal will be communicated to the short-listed suppliers, usually through email or the organisation's e-procurement system. In this case, the procurement opportunity will not be accessible publicly on UNGM.
