If suppliers perceive that they have not been treated fairly in connection with a specific procurement process, suppliers may present a complaint to the UN organization responsible for the procurement process.
Most UN organizations have a formal process in place to handle procurement protests. However, each UN organization has its own processes and procedures. Suppliers may find more details about the UN organization's procedures under the UN organizations' websites (e.g.: UN Secretariat, UN Women, UNHCR).
UNGM is not involved in procurement protest procedures conducted by UN organizations. Therefore, UNGM will not respond to these queries and should not be added in copy of such queries.
TIP: For more information, suppliers are advised to check the UN Procurement Practitioner's Handbook (Chapter 6: Procurement Process) available in the UNGM Knowledge Center.
