To enhance the security of UNGM accounts, two-factor authentication (2FA) is now available for suppliers. This extra layer of protection ensures that only the account owner can access sensitive information.
When logging into the UNGM account, suppliers will now be prompted to complete a secondary authentication step. To log in, follow these steps:
1. Go to the UNGM site. Suppliers are recommended to use Google Chrome to navigate the UNGM site. At the top right corner of the page, click on the Log in button.
2. Then, enter your registered email address and password.
3. Suppliers will be automatically redirected to the Enter Verification Code page.
4. An email containing a unique verification code will be sent to the registered email address.
5. Copy the verification code from the email and paste it into the provided input box on the UNGM screen. The page will automatically load and log in to the supplier account.
6. If the code is not correct or it has expired, users may click on the Resend code link.
Troubleshooting:
- If the email address to access the account has been forgotten or is unknown, suppliers are advised to contact UNGM using the contact form in the Help Center. Suppliers are required to provide their UNGM number, email address, company name, and license number.
- If the password to access the account has been forgotten, suppliers are advised to read the: How to reset or change the account's password? article.
