The UN business seminars are organized by Trade Promotion Organizations (TPOs), and only suppliers from the specified country are eligible to participate.
When a TPO shares information about a business seminar on the UNGM platform, suppliers can find the event details and decide whether to participate.
The event information may include the following details:
- Event date and time
- Location
- Organizing TPO
- Event description
- Registration deadline
- Instructions for expressing your interest
- UN Organization participating
Business seminars can help to better understand UN procurement and connect with UN Organizations. However, expressing interest in a seminar does not automatically register you for procurement opportunities or guarantee an invitation to bid.
How to express interest?
An Expression of Interest (EOI) allows your company to express its interest in participating in a business seminar.
Submitting an EOI does not guarantee an invitation to the event; the relevant TPOs will review your profile to determine your eligibility. It serves as a way to inform the organizers of a supplier's interest.
To express interest in a business seminar, follow these steps:
1. Open the business seminar link and click on the Express interest blue button.
2. If the supplier already has a UNGM account, the Log in button should be clicked.

3. Before expressing interest, suppliers should make sure that the Supplier menu appears on the left and that a username and UNGM number have been assigned to the account.
Then, click on the Express interest button.
4. The TPO will be informed that the supplier has shown interest. The organizers will review the supplier account details and will invite or decline your participation in the event.
