Individual Consultants (ICs) interested in working with the International Labour Organization (ILO) are encouraged to ensure their accounts are created and updated in accordance with the following criteria:
1. When creating an account, select the Join as individual consultant tile. For more information, read the: How to create an individual consultant account on UNGM? article.
If a supplier account has already been created, users may create an IC account with a different valid email address.
2. Then, select Individual Consultant under the type field:
3. After the account has been created and activated, ICs must complete the registration form. For more information, read the: How do individual consultants complete the registration form? article. Keep in mind that:
In Step 1, provide an official ID number (such as a Tax ID number) to uniquely identify the account.
- In Step 4, Types of Services, select only the codes listed under J - Services, and do not select codes for physical goods or equipment, as they do not apply to IC profiles registered with ILO.
For more information, read the: How to select UNSPSC codes? article.
3. Check under My Submission Statuses to ensure that the status with ILO is Registered.
How to update the IC registration?
At any point in time, ICs may edit the information provided in the registration. For more information, read the: How do individual consultants update the information provided in the registration form? article.
Changes to the profile, such as updating the business type or codes, will be reflected in the database automatically once saved.
How to participate in ILO procurement opportunities?
To find ILO procurement opportunities published specifically for ICs, use the filters available in the Procurement Opportunities public search:
- Select ILO as Organization.
- Select Call for individual consultants as Type of opportunity.
Remember that the Express Interest button must be coloured in blue. For more information, read the: How to participate in procurement opportunities requiring electronic submission on UNGM? article.
