What is the UNGM Help Center?
The UNGM Help Center is a self-service portal where users can find answers to their issues by referring to a fully-fledged and searchable knowledge base. There are currently +280 articles available to different users (suppliers, UN staff members and Trade Promotion Organizations).
What to consider before using the UNGM Help Center?
Login
The majority of support articles on the Help Center are publicly visible to enable users who experience difficulties to create/log into an account to access support resources. However, some support articles are not publicly available. Therefore, users will be required to log into their UNGM account to access these specific support articles. Users are recommended to login (if they already have an account on UNGM) to access the entire range of articles available to them.
To do so, click on the Log into UNGM link in the top right-hand side of the page and provide your UNGM login credentials.
Translation
The Help Center and support articles may be translated into Spanish, Chinese (Mandarin), French, Portuguese and Russian with the Google Translator widget available next to the login button.
To use the translator widget, click on the translator drop-down and select your preferred language.
How to navigate the UNGM Help Center?
Search content by keyword
The Help Center contains a search engine allowing users to search the Help Center content by keyword.
To search the Help Center by keyword:
1. Type one/multiple keyword(s) in the search bar. The smart search function will suggest articles which are related to the keyword as users are typing.
2. Click on the support article to access it.
TIPS:

Find multiple words: Use double quotes (") around each word to find content that contains all those words.

Find a phrase: Use double quotes (") around a phrase to find content that contains all the words in that phrase.

Exclude results containing certain words: Use the minus operator (-) in front of the search term to find every article or post that does not include that word or phrase.
Search content by browsing sections and categories
The Help Center contains a drill-down search by category/section. This search enables users to browse sections and categories from a more general view of the data to a more specific one.
To search the Help Center by browsing section and categories:
1. Click on one of the four main categories in the Help Center homepage to initiate the search.
There are currently four sections available:

About UNGM: contains general articles about UNGM, UNGM history, UNGM members and information on how to use the UNGM website and the Help Center.

For potential suppliers: contains articles about registration on UNGM, participation in procurement opportunities, Tender Alert Service, etc.

For UN staff members: contains articles dedicated to UN staff members, which cover topics such as account creation, creation of notices, etc.

For Trade Promotion Organizations: contains articles dedicated to Governmental organizations that promote trade, which cover registration, functionality access, and organization of business seminars.
2. Click on the sub-category of your interest.
3. When clicking on a sub-category, a list of support articles related to this category will be displayed. Click on the article of your choice.
Navigate the support article page
From the support article page, users have the option to:
1. Search for other articles using the Search bar in the top right-hand corner of the page
2. Browse other sections or categories in the carousel at the top of the page.
3. Explore other articles in the same section/category under 'Articles in this section' in the left-hand section.
Users also have the opportunity to:
4. Access additional resources from the external links or support articles referral links provided in the content of the support article.
5. Provide feedback on a support article.
6. Access other related articles which may be related to the information you are looking for.
7. Contact UNGM support from the contact form. To access the contact form, click on Contact UNGM at the end of the support article.
