The United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) is the official procurement portal of the United Nations system. It connects UN Organizations with suppliers and other users interested in working with the UN.
What can you do on UNGM?
UNGM provides a central place to:
- Find procurement opportunities: Search for tenders and other opportunities published by UN Organizations.
- Register your organization or professional profile: Create the appropriate account to participate in relevant opportunities.
- Explore procurement information: Access contract awards, procurement plans, statistics and other information about the UN market.
- Learn about UN procurement: Use the UNGM Knowledge Center to understand how the UN system works and how to participate in procurement processes.
- Discover outreach activities: Find information about International Procurement Seminars and other initiatives that help connect suppliers with UN Organizations.
Registration and access to publicly available procurement opportunities on UNGM are free of charge. Optional services, such as UNGM Pro, require a paid subscription.
How does UNGM help you access the UN market?
UN Organizations have different mandates and procure different goods and services. UNGM makes it easier to explore these opportunities through a common platform and a shared registration process for participating UN Organizations.
However, registering on UNGM does not guarantee a contract or mean that you will automatically receive invitations to tender. You are responsible for searching for relevant opportunities and following the instructions provided by the UN Organization publishing each opportunity.
Does UNGM conduct procurement?
No. UNGM provides the platform, but each UN Organization is responsible for its own procurement processes and decisions.
If you have a question about a specific procurement opportunity, contact the UN Organization using the contact details provided in the notice.
