Registration statuses on UNGM refer to the evaluation of the supplier's registration at a specific level which is conducted by UN organizations.
Suppliers may experience the following registration statuses on UNGM:
The UN organization has received the information provided in the registration form.
Submissions for Level 1 and 2 registrations will be evaluated as part of a tendering process. The status of these registrations will thus remain 'Submitted'.
The registration is currently being reviewed and evaluated by the UN organization.
At this stage, the registration form may not be amended. On average, the review and evaluation process may take up to 10 working days from submission to finalization.
Profile to update
The registration has been reviewed and evaluated by the UN organization, and some information is insufficient, incorrect, or obsolete.
An email from the UN organization evaluating your registration will be sent to your email address to inform you about the required changes.
Once the registration has been amended, the registration needs to be re-submitted.
The registration has been resubmitted for evaluation. The registration will be reviewed and re-evaluated by the UN organization. On average, the review and evaluation process may take up to 10 working days from submission to finalization.
The registration has been evaluated and approved.
The 'registered status' indicates that the supplier's profile is now visible to UN staff members when sourcing for potential suppliers.
Registration does not imply pre-qualification.
The registration with UN organizations is dependent on the matching of products and services between the supplier and the UN organization.
- UN organizations may sometimes change their requirements over time
- Businesses may also redefine their products and services
If any changes lead to the supplier's profile no longer matching a UN organization’s requirements, the status of the registration will become ‘Unmatched’.
The registration with the UN organization has been withdrawn/removed by the supplier. The registration may be resubmitted after it has been withdrawn.
The supplier’s registration has been declined based on the information provided in the registration.
In the majority of cases, registration is declined when the supplier's products and/or services do not match those procured by the UN organizations. It may also be declined by organizations that operate in very specific countries/areas, where a supplier does not do business. In some cases, it can also be that an organization has very specific rules and regulations concerning the number of years in which a supplier has been established, to be considered for a contract.
Suppliers are recommended to contact UNGM when the registration at the Basic Level is declined.
