UNGM uses an external platform for the processing of payments for the Tender Alert Service. UNGM is not administering the platform and therefore can only provide limited support in regards to payment failures.
In the majority of cases, the payment by credit card fails because of the following:
- Incorrect credit card number or expiration date
- Insufficient funds
- The bank declined based on location
- The bank's fraud rules blocked the transaction
In case suppliers are experiencing an error message indicating that the supplier's bank has refused the transaction request, suppliers are advised to directly contact their bank.
The transaction will be temporarily blocked if suppliers retry more than 5 times in 30 minutes.
