In case Tender Alert Service (TAS) notifications may have not been recently received, subscribers are advised to read the following information.
The TAS may have recently expired
Subscribers are advised to verify the status of their TAS and ensure that the service is still ongoing, before contacting UNGM.
To check the status, click on the Plan tab and check the Service end date. If the TAS needs to be renewed, read the: UNGM Pro renewal article.
Opportunities for products and services of interest have not been published
UN organizations procure goods and services based on their current needs and requirements, which can change over time. If no procurement opportunities matching suppliers' UNSPSC codes are currently available, suppliers will not receive notifications.
For more information, read the: Main products and services procured by UN organizations article.
Limited UNSPSC code selection
Suppliers offering highly specific products, services, or innovations may have selected a limited number of UNSPSC codes in the TAS settings. This limited selection can result in fewer notifications received.
Suppliers are advised to review their UNSPSC code selection and consider adding relevant codes to increase the chances of receiving pertinent opportunities.
For more information, read the: TAS: Selecting UNSPSC Codes article.
Limited country and territory selection
Suppliers should go to the Beneficiary countries and territories tab and review the existing selection. The countries and territories included do not have to match those chosen at the registration at Basic level.
If no selection is made, notifications for all countries and territories will be considered. For more information, read the: TAS: Adding beneficiary Countries or Territories article.
