The Tender Alert Service (TAS) sends notifications of relevant procurement opportunities to suppliers subscribed to the service.
In case notifications received as part of the Tender Alert Service may not be relevant, subscribers are advised to read the following information.
The filtering of procurement opportunities for the Tender Alert Service is based on products and/or services
The Tender Alert Service does not offer the possibility to filter procurement opportunities by country. Therefore, subscribers may receive notifications which are not always relevant to their geographical area.
The Tender Alert Service sends notifications to subscribers based on products and/or services of interest. The Tender Alert Service notifications are sent to subscribers when the suppliers' UNSPSC codes and procurement opportunities' UNSPSC codes match.
How to refine the filter criteria?
In case Tender Alert Service subscribers receive notifications which are outside of their scope of work, suppliers are advised to review their UNSPSC code selection in their Tender Alert Service settings under My TAS.
If the UNSPSC code selection is broad and not specific enough, suppliers are advised to select more detailed UNSPSC codes.
In case the reception of irrelevant notifications persists, Tender Alert Service subscribers are advised to contact UNGM using the contact form in the Help Centre.
