In case notifications received as part of the Tender Alert Service may not be relevant, subscribers are advised to read the following information.
The filtering of procurement opportunities
The Tender Alert Service sends notifications to subscribers based on:
- products and services of interest, and
- beneficiary countries or territories
The notifications are sent to subscribers when the suppliers' and procurement opportunities' configuration match. The notice information is introduced by UN staff members issuing procurement opportunities, and therefore in case of doubt suppliers should directly contact them.
How to refine the filter criteria?
In case subscribers receive notifications that are outside of their scope of work, review the UNSPSC code and countries or territories selection:
1. Under My Tender Alert Service (TAS), open the Goods and Services tab. If the UNSPSC code selection is broad and not specific enough, suppliers are advised to select more detailed UNSPSC codes. For more information, read the: How to select and edit the UNSPSC codes in the Tender Alert Service subscription? article.
2. Under My Tender Alert Service (TAS), open the Beneficiary countries or territories tab. For more information, read the: How to add beneficiary countries or territories to the Tender Alert Service subscription? article.
After reviewing the information provided, click on the correspding Save button.
In case the reception of irrelevant notifications persists, subscribers are advised to contact UNGM using the contact form in the Help Centre.
