In case notifications received as part of the Tender Alert Service (TAS) may not be relevant, TAS users are advised to read the following information.
The filtering of procurement opportunities
The TAS sends notifications to users based on:
- products and services of interest, and
- beneficiary countries or territories
The notifications are sent when the suppliers' and procurement opportunities' configurations match. The notice information is introduced by Staff members issuing procurement opportunities, and therefore in case of doubt suppliers should directly contact them.
How to refine the filter criteria?
In case users receive notifications that are outside of their scope of work, review the UNSPSC code and countries or territories selection:
1. Under My UNGM Pro, open the Goods and Services tab. If the UNSPSC code selection is broad and not specific enough, suppliers are advised to select more detailed UNSPSC codes. For more information, read the: TAS: Selecting UNSPSC Codes article.
2. Then, open the Beneficiary countries or territories tab. For more information, read the: TAS: Adding beneficiary Countries or Territories article.
After reviewing the information provided, click on the Save button.
In case the reception of irrelevant notifications persists, users are advised to contact UNGM using the contact form in the Help Centre.
